.DISCUSSION...(Today Through Friday)
Issued at 201 AM MST Sat Nov 11 2017

Current surface map places weak trof across the western Dakotas. A
few high clouds across the forecast area, with some stratus
lifting northward through central Nebraska. Water vapor imagery
shows upper level shortwave trof moving across eastern
Idaho/southwest Montana. For today, shortwave will track into the
western Dakotas, bringing a few rain/snow showers. Accumulations
will be light.

Flat upper level ridge will build across the northern plains for
Sunday/Monday followed by weak upper trof on Tuesday. Stronger trof
still on track for late Thursday into Friday. Above average
temperatures expected through much of the week. After today, next
chance of precipitation will come late Thursday/Friday.

Issued At 1045 AM MST Sat Nov 11 2017

Light rain showers will move into the area this afternoon...then
exit east of the area late this afternoon into the evening. Mainly
VFR conditions are expected today, with some local MVFR
conditions in showers. A weak cold front is expected to cross
mainly northeast WY this evening and bringing IFR conditions and
fog through the night into early Sunday morning.
