Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Wyoming and WRN South Dakota
National Weather Service Rapid City SD
138 AM MDT Mon Apr 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...Gusty northwest winds can expected today,
especially across northwest SD where winds will gust over 50 mph
at times. RH will fall to around 20 percent in the afternoon. The
gusty winds and low RH will support elevated fire weather
conditions, especially on the SD Plains. Breezy winds will
continue through most of the week. Increasingly unsettled weather
can be expected after Wednesday, with a good chance for showers
and Thunderstorms by Friday most places. Cool and unsettled
weather will continue this weekend.
