SLEET IS EXPECTED TO TRANSITION OVER TO SNOW AROUND 2 AM. PRECIP
ENDING BY 4 AM.

.ACCUMULATIONS/PRECIP TYPE/TIMING...

FREEZING RAIN MAY RESULT IN ICE ACCUMULATION OF AROUND 1/10 OF AN
INCH THIS EVENING. HEAVIEST ACTIVITY WILL BE FROM 9 PM TO
2 AM WHEN SLEET ACCUMULATION MAY EXCEED ONE INCH. THUNDERSTORMS
EMBEDDED WITHIN THE SLEET SHOWERS ARE MOST LIKELY BETWEEN 11 PM
AND 1 AM. THUNDERSTORMS/THUNDERSLEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE THE
QUICKEST SLEET ACCUMULATIONS.

THURSDAY`S THAW.

.PRECIP RATES GTE ONE HALF INCH AN HOUR ONSET/DURATION...

WATER EQUIVALENT RATES NOT EXPECTED TO EXCEED 1/2 INCH PER
HOUR...BUT SLEET SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS COULD RESULT IN
ACCUMULATION EXCEEDING 1/2 INCH PER HOUR.

.OTHER THREATS/REMARKS...

INITIAL ICING WILL BE ON ELEVATED SURFACES...BUT BURSTS OF SLEET
WILL COLLECT ON MAIN ROAD SURFACES AS TEMPERATURES FALL INTO THE
20S. ISOLATED EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS COULD POSE A TEMPORARY
LIGHTNING THREAT TO RAMP PERSONNEL AND SKYLINK.
