SEVERAL YEARS. ODDLY ENOUGH...THE WARMEST PERIOD WAS IN THE LATTER
PORTION OF THE MONTH...FROM THE 24TH THROUGH 30TH...WITH AVERAGE
TEMPERATURES AS MUCH AS 10 TO 15 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. COOL PERIODS
THIS MONTH WERE NOT PROLONGED...BUT WERE INSTEAD SCATTERED OUT
DURING THE MONTH.

.MONTHLY TEMPERATURES...
THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2010. THE AVERAGE
LOW TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2007. THE AVERAGE MONTHLY
TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2010.

ABOVE NORMAL ON 16 DAYS...NORMAL ON FIVE DAYS...AND BELOW NORMAL ON

HAIL FELL DURING THE PASSAGE OF A STRONG THUNDERSTORM ON THE EARLY
MORNING OF THE 6TH.

ALSO...DURING THE PASSAGE OF THIS THUNDERSTORM...A 54 MPH WIND GUST
WAS RECORDED. THIS WAS THE HIGHEST WIND GUST AT NORTH LITTLE ROCK
SINCE APRIL 25TH 2011...AND THE 7TH HIGHEST ON RECORD OVER ALL. IT
WAS ALSO THE 2ND HIGHEST WIND GUST ON RECORD IN THE MONTH OF
OCTOBER.
