.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A coastal trough will persist over the offshore waters early this
morning, then move slowly eastward and weaken by this afternoon.
Scattered showers will be possible along and east of the coastal
trough. Areas of dense fog will remain over the bays and
nearshore coastal waters through the morning hours today. The
onshore flow will gradually increase tonight with areas of dense
sea fog expected again along the coast. The onshore flow will
become weak to moderate on Sunday ahead of the next cold front.
This front will move through the Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Sunday night into Monday morning. This will result in a chance for
showers ahead of the boundary, and a moderate offshore flow in
the wake of the front on Monday. The offshore flow will diminish
Monday night, as high pressure builds into Texas. Weak to moderate
onshore flow will resume on Tuesday as the high moves east.
Another weak cold front is expected to move through the area
Wednesday resulting in a moderate northeast flow.
