.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...

The low pressure system will slide off shore later today and
eventually lift northeast on Monday. Meanwhile, high pressure in the
upper Mississippi Valley will settle over the mid Atlantic on
Wednesday. A slow moving cold front is expected to traverse our
region late next week.

to 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt early this afternoon, then
diminishing to 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt late. Seas 4 to
7 ft, building to 6 to 8 ft early this afternoon. Mainly in NE
swell with a dominant period of 6 seconds.  Showers, mainly this
morning. Vsby 1 to 3 NM until late afternoon.
.TONIGHT...NE winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt, becoming
N 15 to 20 kt late. Seas 5 to 8 ft. Mainly in NE swell with a
dominant period of 7 seconds.  Scattered showers early in the
evening.

afternoon. Seas 4 to 7 ft, subsiding to 3 to 5 ft late. Mainly in
