GMZ800-181700-
SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM BONITA BEACH TO SUWANNEE RIVER-
331 AM EDT Wed Oct 18 2017

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will build into the mid-Atlantic region
and remain in place through the rest of the week, with northeast
winds at times increasing to cautionary or advisory levels. Small
craft advisories to remain in effect today for the northern offshore
waters. Slight improvement in winds is expected late this morning
into the afternoon for the Tampa Bay and nearshore northern and
central waters. Winds this evening will again rise to advisory levels
through Thursday morning. As high pressure remains anchored to our
north, periods of cautionary to borderlined advisory level winds will
remain possible through the end of the week. An approaching area of
low pressure will result in a southeasterly wind shift this weekend
and a weakening pressure gradient, which should allow winds to
decrease.
