...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT FOR
WEST CENTRAL POCAHONTAS COUNTY...

AT 532 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL
HAS MOVED OUT OF THE WARNED AREA.  HOWEVER...DUE TO RUNOFF...STREAMS
WILL CONTINUE TO RISE OVER THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
TEA CREEK CAMPGROUND.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOODED
ROADS. FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE
YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME
KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS AND HIKERS SHOULD AVOID STREAMS OR
CREEKS.

PLEASE REPORT SEVERE WEATHER TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BY
CALLING TOLL FREE...800 401 9535...WHEN YOU CAN DO SO SAFELY.
