The Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A followup Flood Statement will be issued later today.

For graphical river and flood information...please go to
www.weather.gov and click near Memphis on the map. Then select Rivers
and Lakes AHPS under current conditions.

Do not drive through flooded areas...turn around don`t drown.

Stay tuned to your weather radio and your local news media for the
latest river information.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Mississippi River at Caruthersville
* until Wednesday May 24.
* At 12 PM Tuesday the stage was 33.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring AND Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 33.3 feet Tuesday May 23.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue falling to near 32.5 feet
  by Wednesday morning.
* At 33.0 feet...In Tennessee, Barr Road in Chickasaw National Forest
  is flooding, cutting off evacuations from the Wardlews Pocket Area.
  In Arkansas, docks useed by the steele plant at Hickman are mostly
  flooded. Numerous roads and fields inside the levee between Gayoso
  and Kennedy, Missouri are covered.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Mississippi River at Osceola
* until Sunday May 28.
* At 12 PM Tuesday the stage was 31.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring AND Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 31.2 feet Tuesday May 23.
* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue falling to near 30.4 feet
  by Wednesday morning.
* At 31.0 feet...In Tennessee, Nix road is flooded. Major sections of
  Four Mile Road are flooded. Snyder Bluff and northern Sam Taylor
  Roads are flooding. Sunk Lake Road is covered north of Bee Lake.
  Fields on Morgan Point are being covered.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Mississippi River at Tunica Riverpark
* until Saturday May 27.
* At 11 AM Tuesday the stage was 45.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring AND Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue falling to near 44.5 feet
  by Wednesday morning.
* At 45.0 feet...In Mississippi, boat launch parking lot at Charlie`s
  Camp is covered. Campbell Road in is partly flooded. Northeast end
  of Betty Lane is going under. Part of Bourbon Street is flooded.
  Spoonbill Lane is going under water. Valley Lane is flooded in
  lakeview Camp. Road to houses south of Ship Island is being
  covered.
