...The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in North Carolina...

  Deep River At Moncure affecting Chatham and Lee Counties
  Haw River At Haw River affecting Alamance County
  Haw River Near Bynum affecting Chatham County
  Lower Little River At Manchester affecting Cumberland County
  Tar River At Louisburg affecting Franklin County
  Tar River At Tarboro affecting Edgecombe County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message. If you encounter deep water while driving, do not
attempt to drive through. Turn around, dont drown.

The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Deep River At Moncure.
* from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning, or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At  8:45 AM Sunday the stage was 1.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Tuesday early afternoon and continue to rise to near 9.3 feet by
  Tuesday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Flooding is likely
  upstream of the gage site along North Plank Road just south of
  highway 421 in Lee county, and on R Jordan Road north of highway
  421 in Chatham county. At the gage site, flooding reaches the
  base of the river gage housing, but is confined to woods and
  pasture immediately adjacent to the river.

  The Haw River At Haw River.
* from late Monday night to Wednesday morning, or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At  8:45 AM Sunday the stage was 2.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Tuesday morning and continue to rise to near 20.0 feet by Tuesday
  early afternoon.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, There is significant overflow on the right
  bank opposite the water treatment plant.

  The Haw River Near Bynum.
* from Tuesday morning to Wednesday evening, or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  8:45 AM Sunday the stage was 3.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Tuesday morning and continue to rise to near 12.1 feet by Tuesday
  evening.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet, The river widens up to 400 feet across. It
  floods pasturelands on the right bank and woodlands on the left.

  The Lower Little River At Manchester.
* from Wednesday morning to late Thursday night, or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At  9:30 AM Sunday the stage was 6.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Wednesday morning and continue to rise to near 19.3 feet by
  Wednesday evening.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Flood stage. Minor flood problems begin in
  Fort Bragg near the water treatment plant.

* from late Tuesday night to Thursday morning, or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At  8:45 AM Sunday the stage was 5.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Wednesday morning and continue to rise to near 20.5 feet by
  Wednesday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Banks overflow at Main
  Street. River Bend Park is flooded and storm drains are inundated
  along the river.

  The Tar River At Tarboro.
* from late Thursday night until further notice, or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At  9:15 AM Sunday the stage was 3.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Friday morning and continue to rise to near 19.6 feet by Friday
  morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Lowland flooding begins south of Daniel
  Street in east Tarboro.
