.DISCUSSION...
Warm, muggy, and wet today and Saturday. Light rain showers this
morning will give way to thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rainfall
this afternoon/evening. A brief break is anticipated tonight. The
remnants of TD Cindy with a cold front Saturday morning. Thunderstorms
will be ongoing throughout the day, however precip-coverage becomes
more scattered Saturday afternoon. The front slowly exits the Northeast
North Carolina Coast Saturday night into Sunday morning. A return to
cooler and drier weather/temperatures Sunday into early next week.
