Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
339 PM MDT Sun May 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Monday...Moderate northwesterly flow
aloft will continue over Colorado through Monday afternoon. The
airmass will remain stable through this evening and Monday morning
except for a few showers or thunderstorms over the northern
mountains. Temperatures will be cooler than seasonal normals.
Daytime heating on Monday may generate a few thunderstorms over the
mountains, foothills and adjacent plains.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday night through Friday...High pressure
building over the western U.S. will bring warming and drying
conditions next week. There should be enough moisture and
instability for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
Most of these will be found over the higher terrain.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
