Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
301 PM EDT Fri Jun 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure aloft remains in the region but weakens overnight
ahead of an approaching cold front on Saturday. Isolated showers
and thunder will be short-lived this afternoon, primarily in the
S.Midlands along the sea breeze. Expect more widespread convective
activity on Saturday...with some storms rather strong. Drier and
cooler air will begin to build in late Sunday through the middle
of next week, with fog potential high in storm cores Saturday and
lingering Sunday morning, espeically in the S. Midlands.
