Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College PA
107 PM EDT Fri Jun 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...

The center of what was once Tropical Storm Cindy
and a plume of deep tropical moisture to its east,
will move northeast bring periods of steadier
moderate to heavy rain across the region this afternoon and
tonight.

Widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected,
with highly localized storm total amounts of over 3 inches
possible by tomorrow morning across portions of Central
and Southern Pennsylvania.

A cold front will push east across the district Saturday
morning, bringing and end to the rain. Drier and cooler
air with comfortable humidity will move in for Saturday
afternoon, and will last right through much of next
week.
