Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan

.DISCUSSION...Periods of rain and thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon through early Monday as a frontal boundary lifts through
the area. Rain will be heavy at times, particularly over the saginaw
valley and northern Thumb where total rainfall May reach between 1.5
a  Monday afternoon. Steadier rain will taper off early Monday, but
scattered showers will still impact the area through Tuesday as
low pressure tracks across the northern Great Lakes. Windy conditions
will also develop Monday and Tuesday. Dry weather is expected on
Wednesday.
