Fire Weather Planning Forecast For NE Kansas/NW Missouri
National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
151 PM CST Sun Nov 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain minimal today with relatively
light surface winds in place. However, southwesterly surface
winds will increase late tonight into Monday morning and
afternoon. Monday afternoon gusts near 25 to 30 mph are expected,
thus increasing the fire weather danger as relative humidity
values decrease to the low to mid 30 percent range. May also see
heightened fire weather on Tuesday afternoon as surface winds
increase ahead of a cold front, while relative humidity values
decrease to the low to mid 30 percent range once again. Lighter
surface winds are then expected through the mid-week, thus
minimizing fire weather concerns.
