FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
230 PM CST SAT DEC 3 2016

.DISCUSSION...
AN AREA OF MOISTURE STREAMING FROM THE SOUTHWEST WILL RESULT IN
UNSETTLED WEATHER ACROSS NORTHERN ALABAMA INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
WIDESPREAD RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA FROM THE SOUTHWEST
TONIGHT...CONTINUING INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE BEST CHANCES FOR
RAIN WILL OCCUR TONIGHT AND ON SUNDAY...WITH ONE TO TWO INCHES
POSSIBLE BY LATE SUNDAY. IN ADDITION TO THE RAIN...WINDS MAY
BRIEFLY INCREASE INTO THE 10-20 MPH RANGE...MAINLY IN THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS OF NORTHEAST ALABAMA. SOMEWHAT MORE INSTABILITY
REALIZED AS THE MAIN SYSTEM PASSES BY COULD BRING ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS EMBEDDED IN MORE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS DURING MONDAY.

FOR THE MOST PART DURING SUNDAY AND MONDAY...POOR TO FAIR SMOKE
DISPERSION RATES ARE EXPECTED. THIS COULD IMPROVE SOMEWHAT ACROSS
NORTHEAST ALABAMA SUNDAY AFTERNOON WITH SOMEWHAT HIGHER WINDS
EXPECTED.
