FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
445 AM CDT SUN MAR 29 2015

.DISCUSSION...
LIGHT EASTERLY WINDS EARLY WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT FROM THE SOUTH
DURING THE MORNING. CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY BE DRY TODAY, BUT A
LOW CLOUD DECK WILL PUSH IN FROM THE SOUTH DURING THE LATE MORNING.
RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES MAY FALL TO NEAR 30 PERCENT DURING THE
AFTERNOON BEFORE A MOISTER AIRMASS FROM THE GULF BEGINS TO PUSH
INTO THE TENNESSEE VALLEY. IF THE MOISTURE RETURN IS SLOWER THAN
ANTICIPATED HOWEVER, THEN RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES MAY FALL LOWER
THAN CURRENTLY FORECAST.

ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS IS EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT AS A WEAK FRONT
MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE BUT
SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT ANTICIPATED.

A SLIGHTLY DRIER AIRMASS WILL FILTER INTO THE REGION ON MONDAY WITH
NORTHERLY FLOW DOMINATING. RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL AGAIN
FALL TO NEAR 30 PERCENT BUT ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN ABOVE RED FLAG
CRITERIA AT THIS TIME.
