...Strong and Gusty Winds Saturday...

.DISCUSSION...A powerful cold front will take aim at the
region on Saturday. South to southwest winds will increase
to 10 to 25 mph, with gusts up to around 40 mph at times.
Widespread showers will accompany the front, with most
locations receiving between a half inch and three quarters
of an inch of rainfall. Much colder air will follow the
front, with highs on Sunday retreating to the upper 30s
and lower 40s. Dry weather will be on tap for the upcoming
work week.
