Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
445 AM CDT Mon Jun 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Another mild and predominantly dry day is in store for much of
western and north central NEB. There are slight chances for
showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the south in the afternoon.
Afternoon humidity will decline to 25-35 percent across much of
the forecast area today. Winds will become northeasterly by late
morning with breezes staying on the low-end (sustained up to 10
MPH).

Conditions continue to look favorable for wetting rains and
active weather at times this week. The best chances are Tuesday
afternoon-Tuesday night and Thursday-Thursday night. There is a
slight chance for severe weather late Tuesday afternoon to Tuesday
evening along with the potential for beneficial rainfall to
accompany storms.
