Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee

.DISCUSSION...The remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy will move across
Middle Tennessee today and tonight, with thunderstorms and
potentially heavy rain occurring as a result. Additional rainfall
amounts will average from around 1 inch along the Cumberland Plateau
to more than 2 inches in areas northwest of Nashville. The rain will
move out by Saturday afternoon, with dry and generally cooler
weather lasting until the end of next week.
