Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NW Oregon and SW Washington
National Weather Service Portland OR
228 PM PDT Fri Mar 24 2017

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Showers decreasing tonight with low
chances for thunderstorms into this evening. Showers further
decrease through Saturday, mostly ending by Saturday night. Next
rain arrives Sunday with gusty winds along the coast. Showers then
continue through Monday. The wet pattern continues into next week
with only short periods of little or no rain.

.DISCUSSION...Showers with low chances for evening thunderstorms.
Chances for convection look slim as cloud cover remains fairly
high. Showers mostly end Saturday night as high pressure transits
across the region. The next system arrives Sunday with rain
changing to showers Monday. It appears the active wet pattern will
continue through next week with only short periods of little or no
rain. HIGA
