Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
336 AM MDT Wed May 24 2017

.Discussion...

Moderating northwest flow aloft across the region this morning will
become more westerly tonight and through the day on Thursday.
Temperatures will warm back to at and above seasonal levels Today
and persist into Thursday, with increasing chances of showers expected
Thursday morning and afternoon.

Cooler and more unsettled weather will develop across the area from
the end of the work week through the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend, as
a broad upper trough slowly works its way across the Rockies. This will
allow for daily chances of showers and thunderstorms, along with some
higher elevation snow showers, as temperatures cool back to below seasonal
averages later in the weekend.

Good or better afternoon smoke dispersion is expected across most
of the region Today, with dispersion reaching excellent levels across
the entire region on Thursday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
