...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A DRY SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL PERSIST OVER THE AREA THROUGH WEDNESDAY
NIGHT. MONSOON MOISTURE WILL RETURN LATE THURSDAY INTO SOUTHERN
MOHAVE COUNTY WITH MOISTURE SPREADING NORTH AND WEST THURSDAY
NIGHT. AREAS MAINLY EAST AND NORTH OF LAS VEGAS WILL HAVE A CHANCE
OF THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY BEFORE A DRY SOUTHWEST
FLOW DEVELOPS AGAIN FOR THE WEEKEND. GUSTY SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS
CAN BE EXPECTED AGAIN WEDNESDAY AND AGAIN FRIDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

LOW PRESSURE OFF THE WEST COAST AND HIGH PRESSURE TO THE EAST WILL
MAINTAIN GENERALLY DRY SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT THROUGH MONDAY. A MINOR
AMOUNT OF MID LEVEL MOISTURE WILL BRING SOME CLOUDS THE MOUNTAINS
THURSDAY. SLIGHTLY WARMER FOR INLAND AREAS THROUGH WEDNESDAY...THEN
AN INLAND COOLING TREND FOR THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY AS A TROUGH OF
LOW PRESSURE MOVES INLAND THROUGH NORTHERN AND CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
ALONG WITH DEEPENING OF THE MARINE LAYER INTO THE WESTERN VALLEYS.
WARMING WILL FOLLOW FOR SUNDAY THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK AS HIGH
PRESSURE OVER THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN ROCKIES STRENGTHENS AND
EXPANDS SLOWLY WESTWARD.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT OVER THE AREA TODAY INTO WEDNESDAY WILL
KEEP HIGH TEMPERATURES WELL ABOVE NORMAL. THE HOTTER DESERTS WILL BE
ABOVE 110 DEGREES...AND HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL BE LOW RANGING FROM
SINGLE DIGITS TO THE LOW TEENS. DRY WESTERLY FLOW ALOFT WILL KEEP
SKIES MOSTLY CLEAR BOTH DAYS. WINDS WILL BE RELATIVELY LIGHT THROUGH
MIDWEEK WITH TYPICAL AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING GUSTINESS MAINLY
FROM THE WEST.

SAN BERNARDINO-
DISCUSSION FOR...SAN BERNARDINO ECC DISPATCH
220 PM PDT TUE AUG 4 2015

A DRY SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL PERSIST OVER THE AREA THROUGH THURSDAY
NIGHT. SOME INCREASE IN MONSOON MOISTURE WILL COMBINE WITH AN UPPER
LEVEL TROUGH MOVING THROUGH TO BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS TO PORTIONS OF THE AREA THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY.
HOWEVER THERE IS UNCERTAINTY REGARDING HOW FAR NORTH AND WEST THE
MOISTURE REACHES. DRY AIR WILL PUSH BACK INTO THE ENTIRE AREA BY
FRIDAY NIGHT WITH DRY SOUTHWEST FLOW THEN CONTINUING INTO AT LEAST
EARLY NEXT WEEK.
