.DISCUSSION...
A veil of high cirrus is blanketing the area early this afternoon.
This will keep temperatures near normal. Moisture will surge into the
are late tonight in response to a diving upper level trough over the
western U.S. This will increase shower and thunderstorm chances late
this evening, mainly after midnight, through Saturday. Heavy rain is
possible. Dry air will filter in from the west on Sunday, which will
lower humidity and precipitation chances. Meanwhile, winds will
remain strong today, and will not fully decouple overnight. On
Saturday, winds will remain breezy, but should not be as strong as
today.
