.DISCUSSION...

Update to the Spot Forecast from yesterday for today`s Rx burn...

A cold front has already swept through the burn site this morning,
so winds will remain from a northwest direction today. Winds
should be much weak compared to yesterday, with gusts between 10
to 15 mph, so smoke dispersal won`t be quite as good, but should
improve later this morning and afternoon as the winds pick up.
High pressure will build into the area, which will help to
dissipate cloud cover later this morning and afternoon. Due to the
more abundant sunshine, humidities will drop to around the 40
percent mark. These values will be dependent on the amount of
sunshine received. If more sunshine breaks through the clouds,
expect the humidities to drop more than they are currently
forecasted. Some higher clouds will be overhead this morning, but
should move out later in the morning, and definitely by the
afternoon.
