.DISCUSSION...

THE DAY WILL START OFF WITH MAINLY CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS AND
ALSO SOME PATCHY FOG. WINDS WILL STAY RELATIVELY LIGHT UNTIL MID
TO LATE MORNING WHEN THEY WILL TAKE ON A MORE NORTH TO NORTHEAST
COMPONENT. THIS IS DUE TO A COLD FRONT WHICH WILL SLOWLY SINK
SOUTHWARD TODAY. WINDS WILL TURN BACK AROUND TO THE SOUTH LATE
TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY...BRINGING THE WARMER AIR BACK. THE WINDS
WILL GET FAIRLY GUSTY BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND
WEST OF THE RED RIVER VALLEY. ANOTHER FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL MOVE
ACROSS THE AREA THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY...BRINGING SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH IT. HIT OR MISS SHOWERS OR
THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER OVER PORTIONS OF THE AREA SATURDAY INTO
SUNDAY...WITH DRY WEATHER RETURNING EARLY NEXT WEEK.
