.DISCUSSION...
A Red Flag Warning for extended periods of low humidity remains
in effect for the Sierra Nevada, including the Ponderosa Fire area,
until 8 PM Friday. Strong high pressure will keep a dry air mass over
the fire area through Friday. A disturbance will move through Friday
night with just some clouds expected. High pressure rebuilds over the
area into early next week for continued dry conditions and easterly
winds. No precipitation is forecast for the next seven days.

Min humidity........15-19 percent.
EYE LEVEL WINDS.....Downslope 2-4 mph in the morning shifting
                    to upslope 3-6 mph by 1000 PST.
