.DISCUSSION...

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL KEEP THE AREA DRY AND WARM WITH LIGHT WINDS
TODAY. A DEEP UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL BRING
INCREASING CLOUDINESS TO THE AREA TONIGHT..THEN AN INCREASING CHANCE
OF SHOWERS AND AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS ON TUESDAY WITH INCREASING
SOUTHERLY SURFACE WINDS. GUSTY ERRATIC WINDS WILL LIKELY ACCOMPANY
ANY THUNDERSTORMS...BUT RELATIVE HUMIDITIES ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE
DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS WITH THE ONSET OF THE MORE WIDESPREAD
SHOWERS. A FRONTAL BOUNDARY MAY ALSO MOVE THROUGH THE AREA LATE IN
THE AFTERNOON...CAUSING THE SOUTHERLY WINDS TO SHIFT MORE WESTERLY AND
BECOME MORE GUSTY. GENERALLY...EXPECTED RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY
BE IN THE 0.10 TO 0.20 INCH RANGE TUESDAY AFTERNOON...BUT HIGHER
AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 0.25 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE FROM THUNDERSTORMS.
