For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...An expansive 30.8 inch high centered over the
Southeast will settle off the coastline through Sunday. At the
same time, a 29.1 inch low will track from near James Bay to the
Gulf of Saint Lawrence through tonight. A warm front will lift
across the lake Monday, as a 29.4 inch low moves into the central
Mississippi valley. This low will track across southern Ontario
Tuesday, sweeping a cold front across the lake by Tuesday evening.

.TODAY...Southwest winds to 30 knots becoming west 15 to
25 knots. Waves 10 to 15 feet subsiding to 5 to 8 feet. Waves
occasionally around 19 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west and
diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves 4 to 7 feet subsiding to
2 to 4 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 knots or less becoming southeast. Waves
1 to 3 feet subsiding to 1 foot or less.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 15 knots becoming east 15 to
20 knots. A chance of rain. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to
4 feet.
.MONDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots becoming southeast.
Rain. Waves 3 to 5 feet building to 4 to 7 feet, then subsiding
to 2 to 4 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west and
increasing to 35 knot gales. Rain showers during the day, then
snow and rain showers likely Tuesday night. Waves 2 to 4 feet
building to 8 to 11 feet. Waves occasionally around 14 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West gales to 35 knots becoming northwest and
diminishing to 15 to 20 knots. A chance of snow showers. Waves
7 to 11 feet subsiding to 4 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around
14 feet.

15 knots. Waves 4 to 7 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet. Waves
occasionally around 9 feet.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds 10 knots or less becoming south. Waves
1 to 3 feet subsiding to 1 foot or less.
