THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL NEW
YORK...SOUTHEASTERN NEW YORK AND NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING SOME LIGHT SNOW FOR TONIGHT...WITH
1 TO 3 INCHES GENERALLY EXPECTED BY FRIDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

LIGHT SNOW TRANSITIONS TO LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS FOR FRIDAY...AND
WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS...AND FALLING
TEMPERATURES BEHIND AN ARCTIC FRONT. A COATING UP TO ANOTHER INCH
OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE DAY...WITH WIND GUSTS UP TO
35 MPH.

WIND CHILLS ARE LIKELY TO REACH INTO AT LEAST THE TEENS BELOW
ZERO FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH WIND CHILL ADVISORIES OR WARNINGS QUITE
POSSIBLE.

COLD CONDITIONS WILL LAST THROUGH THE WEEKEND...WITH ANOTHER
SYSTEM POTENTIALLY AFFECTING THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY.
HOWEVER AT THIS TIME...FORECAST CONFIDENCE REMAINS LOW WITH THE

ACCUMULATION THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. THIS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY AN ARCTIC
BLAST...WITH GUSTY WINDS...SNOW SHOWERS...AND BLOWING SNOW...AS WELL
AS FALLING TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY. WIND CHILLS ARE EXPECTED TO
REACH AT LEAST TEENS BELOW ZERO BY FRIDAY NIGHT...WHICH COULD
WELL TRIGGER WIND CHILL ADVISORIES OR WARNINGS.
