THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN NEW YORK...CENTRAL
VERMONT...NORTHEAST VERMONT...NORTHWEST VERMONT AND SOUTHERN
VERMONT.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THE POSSIBILITY EXISTS FOR HIGH WINDS ACROSS THE NORTH COUNTRY
DURING CHRISTMAS EVE DAY INTO CHRISTMAS EVE NIGHT IN ASSOCIATION
WITH A STRONG AREA OF LOW PRESSURE. THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS AND THE
WESTERN SLOPES HAVE THE HIGHEST RISK OF SEEING STRONG TO DAMAGING
WINDS. GIVEN THE WINDS AND AREAS OF DAMAGED TREE LIMBS FROM LAST
WEEK`S HEAVY WET SNOW...THE PROSPECT EXISTS FOR SCATTERED POWER
OUTAGES. IN ADDITION...LATEST GUIDANCE SUGGESTS THAT RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM. THE RAIN
COMBINED WITH MILD TEMPERATURES AND RESULTING SNOWMELT WILL
INCREASE THE THREAT OF FLOODING. COLDER TEMPERATURES RETURN ON
CHRISTMAS DAY WITH A CHANGEOVER TO SNOW SHOWERS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
