.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY. NO SEVERE
WEATHER IS EXPECTED...ALTHOUGH A TROPICAL FUNNEL CLOUD IS POSSIBLE.
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL MAY DEVELOP WITH SLOW MOVING
THUNDERSTORMS.

THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE GULF
FACING BEACHES THROUGH TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST ACROSS SOUTH TEXAS
THROUGH SUNDAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL MAY ACCOMPANY ANY OF THE
SLOWER MOVING STORMS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY ACROSS THE COASTAL PLAINS.

MAXIMUM HEAT INDEX VALUES FROM 105 TO 109 DEGREES WILL BE POSSIBLE
AT TIMES LATE THIS WEEK INTO NEXT WEEK AS DEEPER MOISTURE GRADUALLY
BUILDS INTO THE REGION.
