THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS THIS MORNING. BREEZY NORTH
WINDS WILL DEVELOP IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT AND DRAW CONSIDERABLY
DRIER AIR INTO THE REGION. RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL DROP TO
BETWEEN 20 AND 30 PERCENT THIS AFTERNOON. THE DRY AIR MASS COUPLED
WITH NORTH WINDS NEAR 15 MPH WILL PRODUCE ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY SOUTHWEST OF A BRENHAM TO ANGLETON LINE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH TEXAS ON TUESDAY. THIS
SYSTEM ALONG WITH A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL SET THE STAGE FOR
AN EXTENDED WET PERIOD ACROSS PARTS OF THE STATE. AT THIS TIME...
IT IS UNCLEAR WHICH PARTS OF THE STATE WILL RECEIVE HEAVY RAIN BUT
THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR PART OF THE STATE TO RECEIVE 1 TO 3
INCHES OF RAIN.

STRONG NORTH WINDS WILL DEVELOP TODAY IN THE WAKE OF A COLD FRONT.
A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR GALVESTON BAY...MATAGORDA
BAY AND THE ADJACENT GULF WATERS THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY
SATURDAY. NORTH WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE TO 20 TO 25 KNOTS
WITH HIGHER GUSTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY STRONG SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL DEVELOP ON
SUNDAY AND PERSIST THROUGH WEDNESDAY. SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES WILL
LIKELY BE REQUIRED DURING THIS TIME PERIOD.
