THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS: THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA TODAY.
THE PRIMARY THREATS ARE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND PERSISTENT
HEAVY RAIN.

FLOODING: URBAN STREET FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE IN POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS, AS WELL AS ANY AREA THAT EXPERIENCES HEAVY RAIN FOR AN
EXTENDED AMOUNT OF TIME.

WATERSPOUTS: THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF WATERSPOUTS OVER SOUTH
FLORIDA WATERS, ESPECIALLY WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS MOVING OFFSHORE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

TROPICAL STORM ERIKA MAY IMPACT THE REGION LATE THIS WEEKEND INTO
THE EARLY PART OF NEXT WEEK. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY
RAINFALL, GUSTY WIND, AND A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR TORNADOS. HAZARDOUS
MARINE CONDITIONS COMBINED WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR A HIGH RISK OF
RIP CURRENTS ARE POSSIBLE LATE THIS WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK.
