northwest North Carolina, central Virginia and south central
Virginia.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday afternoon
into Wednesday evening. Damaging winds gusts will be the main threat
with these thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday afternoon
into Wednesday evening. Damaging winds gusts will be the main threat
with these thunderstorms.

In addition...behind a strong cold front Wednesday night and
Thursday, northwest winds are expected to gust to 40 to 45 mph,
especially along the higher ridges of the Blue Ridge and Alleghany
Mountains.
