EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

Mild weather will continue into the weekend with surface high
pressure in place under northwest flow aloft. Tropical Storm
Harvey will move towards the Texas coast making landfall late
Friday/early Saturday. It will then drift north and east through
the weekend and into next week. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms may work their way north into southeast Oklahoma as
Harvey moves south of the area. A front moving southward out of
the northern plains late in the weekend will provide another
chance for storms Sunday night into Monday.
