WATCH WITH A GALE WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 10 PM
EST SUNDAY.

* WINDS...NORTH 25 TO 35 KT...WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 KT WILL BACK TO
  THE NORTHWEST AT THE SAME SPEEDS AS THE INTENSE LOW PASSES BY
  LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* SEAS...WILL PEAK IN THE 6 TO 9 FOOT RANGE...WITH 10 FOOTERS
  POSSIBLE ACROSS THE OUTER WATERS OFF CAPE FEAR LATE THIS
  AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. WIND DRIVEN WAVES AT 5 TO 7 SECONDS WILL
  DOMINATE THE SEAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
