...DENSE FOG IS EXPECTED TO EXPAND INLAND FROM THE COAST
OVERNIGHT INTO THE EARLY TO MORNING HOURS...

.AREAS OF DENSE FOG WERE OCCURRING IN PORTIONS OF THE MISSISSIPPI
COASTAL COUNTIES AND IN SOME AREAS IMMEDIATELY SURROUNDING LAKE
PONTCHARTRAIN. THE DENSE FOG MAY BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD AND
EXPAND INLAND FROM THE COAST AND TIDAL LAKES...AND ALSO DEVELOP
ALONG PORTIONS OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER FROM ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST
PARISH TO THE LOWER PASSES AS THE NIGHT PROGRESSES...AND WILL
LIKELY REMAIN DENSE TROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS ON THURSDAY.
VISIBILITIES WILL BE LOWERED TO ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT
TIMES.

FOG ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST THURSDAY.

* VISIBILITY...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES MAINLY IN AREAS
  NEAR WATER.

* IMPACTS...MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE EXTREME CAUTION AND
  ALLOW FOR ADDITIONAL TRAVEL TIME. USE LOW BEAMS...REDUCE
  DRIVING SPEED AND ALLOW FOR PLENTY OF ROOM BETWEEN OTHER CARS
  AS VEHICLES AND OTHER OBJECTS ON AND NEAR ROADWAYS WILL BE
  SEEN ONLY AT CLOSE RANGE.
