...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM CST
THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM this morning to 6 PM CST
this evening.

* WINDS...Southerly at 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* TIMING...Winds will strengthen later this morning and are
  expected to be strongest this afternoon, subsiding this evening.

* IMPACTS...Driving may be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles on east to west roads. Light weight unsecured objects
  such as lawn furniture and trash cans will be blown around.
  Areas of blowing dust could reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts over 40 mph are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
