* AFFECTED AREA...IMPERIAL COUNTY...ESPECIALLY WESTERN PORTIONS.

* TIMING...THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...WEST WINDS 25 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH... HIGHER
  NEAR THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY BORDER.

* VISIBILITY...LOCALLY FALLING TO AROUND 1 MILE IN BLOWING DUST.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE TO AREAS OF REDUCED
  VISIBILITY IN BLOWING DUST AND SAND. ALSO...MORE DIFFICULT
  VEHICLE HANDLING DUE TO STRONG CROSS-WINDS ON NORTH-SOUTH
  ROADS...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. AFFECTED
  ROADWAYS INCLUDE INTERSTATE 8...HIGHWAY 78...HIGHWAY 86...AND
  HIGHWAY 111.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF YOU ENCOUNTER DENSE BLOWING DUST OR SAND...PULL OFF THE
ROADWAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE AND PARK. TURN OFF THE VEHICLE AND ALL
LIGHTS...AND KEEP YOUR FOOT OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL.

BE READY FOR A SUDDEN DROP IN VISIBILITY. IF YOU ENCOUNTER
BLOWING DUST OR BLOWING SAND ON THE ROADWAY OR SEE IT
APPROACHING...PULL OFF THE ROAD AS FAR AS POSSIBLE AND PUT YOUR
VEHICLE IN PARK. TURN THE LIGHTS ALL THE WAY OFF AND KEEP YOUR

* AFFECTED AREA...SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA INCLUDING THE OUTSKIRTS OF
  THE PHOENIX METRO. THIS ALSO INCLUDES LARGE PORTIONS OF INTERSTATE
  8 AND INTERSTATE 10.

* TIMING...THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

* WINDS...SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS AROUND 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40
  MPH.

* VISIBILITY...LOCALLY FALLING TO AROUND OR BELOW 1 MILE IN BLOWING
  DUST. ESPECIALLY ADJACENT TO OPEN FIELDS.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED
  VISIBILITY IN BLOWING DUST. IN ADDITION TO INTERSTATE 8 AND
  INTERSTATE 10...MANY OTHER STATE AND COUNTY ROADS ADJACENT TO OPEN
