...High Winds will return to the Absarokas, Cody Foothills and
the Green and Rattlesnake ranges today and tonight...

.Strong west winds aloft will continue to surface and bring high
winds to portions of the Absarokas and Cody Foothills as well as
along the Green Mountains and Rattlesnake Range through tonight.

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST FRIDAY...

* TIMING...High winds will continue through 5 am Friday. Wind
  gusts to 79 mph around Clark and 77 mph around Meeteetse have
  been observed today.

* WINDS...West 40 to 50 mph with gusts to 70 to 80 mph in the Cody
  Foothills, with higher gusts possible around Clark. In the
  Absarokas, west winds 45 to 50 mph with gusts to 85 mph.

* IMPACTS...Strong cross winds may produce a significant blow
  over threat to trucks pulling light weight and high profile
  trailers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

  afternoon . High winds are then expected through tonight.


* WINDS...Southwest 35 to 45 mph with gusts of 60 to 65 mph, with
  higher gusts in the higher terrain.

* IMPACTS...Strong cross winds will produce a significant blow
  over threat to trucks pulling light weight and high profile
  trailers.
