...A Lake Wind Advisory will be in effect from 11 AM CST today
until midnight tonight for most of East and Northeast Texas and
adjacent sections of Southwest Arkansas and Northwest
Louisiana...

.A tight pressure gradient associated with a tightly wound surface
low pressure system moving from the Pan Handles of Texas and
Oklahoma into the Southern Plains and central sections of the
country will result in Southerly winds of 15 to 20 MPH with
higher gusts to 25-30 MPH.

...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO
MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT FOR MOST OF EAST AND NORTHEAST TEXAS AND
ADJACENT SECTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS AND NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Lake Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to midnight
CST tonight.

* EVENT...A tight pressure gradient associated with a tightly
  wound surface low pressure system moving from the Pan Handles of
  Texas and Oklahoma into the Southern Plains and central sections
  of the country will result in Southerly winds of 15 to 20 MPH
  with higher gusts to 25-30 MPH.

* TIMING...From 11 AM CST today until midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACT...A rough chop on area lakes will create hazardous
  boating conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to taking on
water and capsizing.
