forecast to increase later this morning and persist into the

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM PDT
THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT
this evening.

* TIMING...Winds pick up this morning and peak in the afternoon,
  then remain gusty into the early evening. Winds decrease
  tonight.

* WINDS...Northwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 45 mph in
  the afternoon and early evening.

* IMPACTS...Downed tree limbs, blowing debris, difficult driving
  conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
