AT NORFOLK...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 86.4 DEGREES AND THE
LOW AVERAGED 71.0. THE RESULTANT AVERAGE OF 78.7 DEGREES RANKED AS
THE 7TH WARMEST ON RECORD. THIS WAS 3.4 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.

AT RICHMOND...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 87.8 DEGREES AND THE
LOW AVERAGED 68.1. THE RESULTANT AVERAGE OF 77.9 DEGREES RANKED AS
THE 8TH WARMEST ON RECORD. THIS WAS 2.6 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.

MOST OF THE AREA HAD WELL ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION AVERAGING 6 TO
10 INCHES. NORFOLK RANKED 5TH WETTEST ON RECORD WITH 8.34 INCHES
WHICH WAS 4.08 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. RICHMOND HAD 6.05 INCHES OF RAIN
WHICH WAS 2.12 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THIS FELL SHORT OF THE TOP 10
LIST.
