...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 11/07/17 THUNDERSTORM WIND EVENT ACROSS
MCMINN COUNTY THIS MORNING...

.OVERVIEW...A severe thunderstorm developed across McMinn County producing
wind damage from Riceville to Englewood early this morning.

.THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE...

Injuries:               1

End Location:           Englewood, TN

Survey Summary: A NWS team completed the damage survey across McMinn County.  The
team determined that the damage was caused by damaging straight line winds up to
80 mph.  A mobile home was blown down near Riceville, Tennessee near County Road 100.
The strong winds continued across McMinn County and produced additional damage
near Inglewood, Tennessee. Several trees and power lines were blown down near the
intersection of County Road 561 and Pine Street.
