DISCUSSION: THERE IS A CHANCE OF LIGHT RAIN AND LOW ELEVATION SNOW
ACROSS PORTIONS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY AND NORTHERN VENTURA COUNTY
TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING, EXCEPT LINGERING IN THE MOUNTAINS INTO
MONDAY EVENING. THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE OF RAIN SHOWERS AND LOW
ELEVATION SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS PORTIONS OF SAN LUIS OBISPO AND SANTA
BARBARA COUNTIES LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY.

SNOW LEVELS WILL LOWER FROM 5000 TO 5500 FEET THIS EVENING...TO 2500
TO 3000 FEET BY LATE TONIGHT...THEN TO 1500 TO 2000 FEET MONDAY
MORNING.

WHERE MEASURABLE RAIN DOES FALL...TOTALS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LESS
THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH FOR MOST AREAS, EXCEPT UP TO TWO TENTHS OF
AN INCH ACROSS L.A. COUNTY...AND POSSIBLY TWO TO FOUR TENTHS OF AN
INCH ON THE NORTHERN MOUNTAIN SLOPES OF VENTURA COUNTY AND FAR
NORTHWESTERN LOS ANGELES COUNTY...AND THE MOUNTAINS OF EASTERN LOS
ANGELES COUNTY.

TWO TO FOUR INCHES OF SNOW MAY ACCUMULATE ON THE NORTHERN MOUNTAIN
SLOPES OF VENTURA COUNTY AND NORTHWEST LOS ANGELES COUNTY...AND IN
THE EASTERN SAN GABRIEL MOUNTAINS WITH 1-2 INCHES ACROSS THE SANTA
BARBARA MOUNTAINS. PORTIONS OF THE CUYAMA VALLEY COULD SEE UP TO AN
INCH OF SNOW. A LIGHT DUSTING OF SNOW ACROSS THE FOOTHILLS OF THE
ANTELOPE VALLEY CAN`T BE RULED OUT BUT NOT EXPECTING SNOW TO
ACCUMULATE IF IT DOES.
