CHANCE FOR AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHWESTERN
SOUTH DAKOTA. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE LOWER 70S TO LOWER
80S...WARMEST TO THE SOUTHEAST OF THE BLACK HILLS. SOUTH TO
SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 10 TO 25 MPH IN MOST AREAS BY
EARLY AFTERNOON...A BIT STRONGER ACROSS FAR SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH
DAKOTA. WINDS WILL SWITCH TO SOUTHWESTERLY IN MANY AREAS LATE IN
THE DAY AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES. RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL DROP
TO 20 TO 35 PERCENT IN THE AFTERNOON...LOWEST VALUES ACROSS
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA. THESE CONDITIONS...ALONG
WITH DRY GRASSES...WILL HELP TO PRODUCE EXTREME GRASSLAND FIRE
DANGER ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHWESTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA
