...LOCAL RIVERS AND STREAMS RUNNING HIGH THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...

A WEAKENING FRONTAL PASSAGE OVER THE EASTERN GULF AND THE NORTHERN
PANHANDLE WILL DISSIPATE THIS AFTERNOON. THE FRONT HAS RESULTED LIGHT
TO MODERATE RAIN SHOWERS OVERNIGHT SUNDAY AND CAUSED LOCAL RIVERS AND
STREAMS RUNNING HIGH. AS SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO TAPERING OFF
THIS MORNING...WATER LEVELS WILL CONTINUE TO RECEDE.

AS OF 430 AM AKDT...THE MENDENHALL RIVER LEVEL WAS 11.13 FEET AND
FALLING. FLOOD STAGE IS 11.5 FEET. THE MENDENHALL LAKE WAS 9.2
FEET AND FALLING. FLOOD STAGE IS 9.0 FEET. THE CHILKAT RIVER WAS
126.3 FEET...JUST BELOW THE BANKFULL STAGE OF 126.5 FEET.

JORDAN AND MONTANA CREEKS HAVE BEEN FLUCTUATING DURING THE PAST
TWO DAYS AS HEAVIER PERIODS OF RAIN MOVE ACROSS THE REGION. BOTH
CREEKS REMAIN ONE TO TWO FEET BELOW BANKFULL STAGE AND ARE
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE A SLOW DROP THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON.

A FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE TAIYA RIVER UNTIL 845
AM THIS MONDAY MORNING.

THIS STATEMENT WILL BE UPDATED AS CONDITIONS WARRANT.
