This evening, a winter storm continues over much of South Dakota
and parts of extreme south central North Dakota.

This storm will drift east, impacting South Dakota and eventually
Minnesota through Wednesday. Highest snowfall totals will be
along I-90 and to the south with areas close to the northern
Nebraska and Iowa borders receiving up to a foot or more. To the
north, snowfall will be lighter with accumulations tapering off
over southern North Dakota and the northern half of Minnesota.

Gusty winds will be associated with this system which will lead to
blowing and drifting snow over roadways. Those traveling through
these areas should be cautious as driving conditions will be
difficult.
