Another unseasonably hot day was encountered across the High
Plains this afternoon. A few locations reached over the century
mark across north central Kansas. For the most part, high
temperatures were in the mid to upper 90s across western and
central Kansas.

An upper level disturbance moving across the High Plains will
drift off to the northeast tonight as a larger scale trough
comes into focus across the Pacific Northwest. Surface troughing
on the lee side of the Rockies will persist through Friday
evening. Dry conditions are expected overnight with mostly sunny
skies and breezy conditions expected on Friday.

Lows tonight will range from the upper 50s in northeastern
Colorado to the lower 70s in northern Oklahoma. Highs on Friday
will range from the upper 80s in northeastern Colorado to the
upper 90s in southwestern Kansas.
