SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS TODAY AS ONLY SOME
HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS MOVED THROUGH THE AREA.  TEMPERATURES WERE VERY
MILD AND RANGED FROM 82 DEGREES AT PRATT TO 90 DEGREES AT LIBERAL.
THE GARDEN CITY REGIONAL AIRPORT SET A RECORD HIGH OF 86 DEGREES.
RECORD HIGHS WERE ALSO SET AT GOODLAND AND HILL CITY.

A BROAD SURFACE TROUGH FROM THE NORTHERN PLAINS TO THE TEXAS
PANHANDLE WILL MOVE OFF TO THE EAST BY SATURDAY AS ANOTHER SURFACE
TROUGH DEVELOPS IN THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES.  A LARGE UPPER LEVEL HIGH
NEAR NEW MEXICO WILL MOVE INTO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS SATURDAY.  MOSTLY
CLEAR SKIES CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH SATURDAY.  TEMPERATURES WILL BE
MILD ONCE AGAIN.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE MID AND UPPER 30S IN
PARTS OF WESTERN NEBRASKA TO THE UPPER 50S FROM SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS
TO CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.  HIGHS SATURDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 70S IN
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA TO AROUND 90 IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.
